Racial Equity in the 48th Ward

I believe in building a 48th Ward and Chicago where everyone has what they need to live a safe, healthy, happy life, especially Black, indigenous, and people of color who have been disenfranchised and disinvested in by the city for so long. To accomplish this vision, as Alderman I will support policies that dismantle systemic inequalities and repair harm caused by centuries of oppression. From housing to education to policing and carceral systems to environmental justice and more, we have so much work to do in City Council to achieve true racial justice in Chicago.

Please join me for an event to discuss my vision for building racial equity in the ward and hear from community members and organizations about their top policy priorities. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at 7pm at the campaign office and will also be available by Zoom.

Please email [email protected] by November 14 with language access and accessibility requests.
